This book wishes to contain in it a collection of poems inspired by the events that led to and succeeded the ten-year siege of Troy, as described in the Epic Cycle. This book is a creative exercise in character interpretations, thematic analysis, and poetic production.

I love reading poetry and my love for Greek mythology is not unknown. This book was a beautiful combination of both. It contains poems about the various incidents and characters from Iliad by Homer.
The ones I liked more than the others are Hector Desecrated, The Grief of Achilles and Iphigenia. Every poem is well thought of and mentions about the circumstances of the characters in those particular moments where the poem is based. It also has poems dedicated to lesser known characters.
I finished the book in half an hour. Very well written. Definitely recommended. I would be looking forward to more work by the author.
There are trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter/ poem and that is the best part of my reading experience. New (and small) authors and publishers are including trigger warnings in their works. My question remains the same – what’s stopping the bigger and established ones?

the poems dealt with some intense emotions and the poet tried to do justice to those emotions… I liked the poet’s efforts to narrate the story. I guess I liked Helen, Discord and Grief of Achilles the best.

The nom de plume is justified. Very lucid and palatable writing.

I love reading poetries as I am a poet myself IG @authorsaloni. Portraying Greek mythology upto this extent would have required a big thought process with a mix of art as poetry in it. Really loved the way you’ve done justice to the art. Would love more work coming in. I enjoyed reading your book, it was quick and satisfying. I specifically loved rowing, eye for eye and Nemo. Amazing contribution to art Anurag.

Loved the work. As far as my understanding is concerned A little context might help the people who aren’t familiar with TROY. Try to add the “Context” section briefing about the whole mythology or just about the characters. Although I’ve been into this but still took me a while to remember the names and their contributions.
All the very best for upcoming projects.

I am sorry, that I interrupt you, but, in my opinion, this theme is not so actual.
